LaunchSwift — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how LaunchSwift ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the LaunchSwift product and website.
The short version: We collect almost nothing. No tracking pixels, no cookies on our site, no user data harvested from apps you build.
1. What We Collect
From the LaunchSwift Website
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics on our landing page. No personal information is collected when you visit our site.
From Purchases
When you purchase LaunchSwift, payment is processed by Polar.sh. We receive:
- Your email address (to grant repository access and send purchase confirmation)
- Your GitHub username (to invite you to the private repository)
We do not receive or store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Polar.sh and their payment processor (Stripe).
From the Product (Apps You Build)
LaunchSwift includes an optional TelemetryDeck integration for analytics in apps you build. TelemetryDeck is a privacy-first analytics provider that:
- Collects anonymous signals only (no personally identifiable information)
- Does not use device fingerprinting
- Does not track users across apps
- Is fully GDPR-compliant without consent banners
- Processes data in the EU
You control your own analytics. TelemetryDeck is included as an opt-in module. You can remove it, replace it, or never enable it. We have no access to analytics data from apps you build.
From GitHub
When you access the LaunchSwift repository, standard GitHub activity metadata applies (commits, issues, etc.), governed by GitHub's Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your email and GitHub username solely to:
- Grant and manage your repository access
- Send purchase confirmation and important product updates
- Process refund requests
We do not:
- Sell or share your information with third parties
- Send marketing emails (unless you opt in separately)
- Track your usage of the Product
3. Data Retention
- Email and GitHub username: Retained as long as your license is active. Removed upon request or refund.
- Purchase records: Retained for accounting and legal compliance (typically 7 years), managed by Polar.sh.
